The Best Gift Anyone Can Give

by Scott Noelle

As the holiday gift-giving rituals approach, we can avoid getting caught up in the consumer frenzy by remembering that the best gift anyone can give is, of course, Love.

But the idea of giving love is a bit misleading because, as I’ve said before, love doesn’t come from you so much as through you. Thus, “giving” love is really allowing love to flow, which happens automatically when you get out of Love’s way.

Just stop doing the things you do that block love, and you will experience more love.

One of the biggest ways people block the flow of love is by judging others, so this week I’ve posted an article about escaping...

The Morality Trap
(read time: about 5 minutes)

Travel Plans — I’m currently planning to visit five cities in the eastern US at the end of January, 2016: Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Charlotte, and Asheville, NC. This trip is focused on my advocacy work for self-directed education (SDE). Mostly I’ll be educating myself about alternative schools and learning centers that are supporting SDE, but I may also be offering workshops for parents who want to support their kids’ natural learning processes. If you live in or near one of the above cities and belong to a group that might be interested in my workshops, please contact me.

Wishing you abundant love this holiday season...
